Drop Off time: 7:50-8:15 am. Pick up time M-TH 3-3:15 and F 1:30 - 1:45.
Our busiest and most congested moments of the day are when children are dropped off and picked up from school in the morning and afternoon. SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
Every family must turn in a Pick Up form stating who has permission to take their children home from school.

Curbside drop-off and pick-up traffic should follow signage around the western and southern sides of the parking lot, and up to the school building by the blue Conex. Pick-up and Drop-off is from the CURBSIDE lane ONLY. The other lane is for departing thru traffic ONLY.
Please DO NOT exit northbound on Lake Otis Parkway at drop-off or pick-up time. It is a busy commuter street with traffic from TWO other schools at this time of day. Use Lake Otis for SOUTHBOUND traffic only. All other traffic should turn LEFT on Sentry Drive, and then turn RIGHT onto Independence Rd. to get back to Abbott/Dimond Rd. at a traffic light.
ASD asks that parents not arrive before the final bell (3:00).This is for safety reasons in case emergency vehicles need to get through.
CARPOOLING TO RILKE The Carpool Map is hanging up in the main lobby at school, sponsored by the Rilke Schule Verein. If you are interested in this program, add your home location to the map with a numbered push pin, and then fill out an index card with the number of your push pin, name, address, and contact information. Families can then see at a quick glance who lives nearby and is available to carpool. You can also note how many seats you have available and how many kids you need rides for. File the card in numeric order in the card box. Past participating families, please update your cards as all pins were removed during the summer.
RESERVED PARKING SPOTS Just a reminder to everyone that the first six slots in the northernmost row are reserved parking spots won by Rilke Parents at the various auctions. Please leave these spots open for them. The very first spot has been donated to any pregnant or newborn family by the Zagorski family.
