Chartering a school is a daring and challenging endeavor and cannot be completed without the help and support of interested members of the community, friends, families, and organizations. This accolade page is dedicated to all "Friends of Rilke Schule" who stepped forward and offered their volunteer services, expertise, and help. The Rilke Schule APC would like to recognize their dedication, committment, and support.
In alphabetical order:
Rilke Schule,APC members, parents, friends, and children enjoyed spending some time with the Iditarod Champion and his wife Kathy at the Rilke Schule Grillfest, July 19, 2007. We felt honored that Martin and Kathy took the time to come from Big Lake to spend the afternoon with us and draw the student names in the lottery. Thank you and we hope you visit us again! _________________________________________________________________

Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany. Since the first lottery, March 15, 2007., Mr. Guetschow has participated in the drawing to ensure that every lottery is conducted correctly and fairly. In addition to his function as Honorary Consul, he is the school's official "Lotteriemeister".
Mr. Guetschow also has hosted graciously Rilke Schule visitors. Just recently he invited the Consultant of German Programs Abroad, Mr. Heinz Kohlmeier, and his delegation, to a delightful dinner. We appreciate the generosity and your continued support and belief in us and look forward to seeing you at any of our many upcoming events.
Christy Hoffmann, President and Sales Associate, most generously donated large amounts of valuable office furniture and equipment to Rilke Schule. The amount, quality, and condition certainly surpassed our expectations when we came to the office suite to move it out. We had to have a special container placed on the property to store it in the interim. Rilke Schule is very grateful for your unbelievable generosity. Thank you, Hoffmann, Zak & Associates, for helping us get off to a great start with such elegant and nice office furniture. We sure will make an impression now! _________________________________________________________________

Donations and support that made our playground structure possible:
*German Club of Anchorage* Rilke Schule's new playground structure was made possible in part by the generous donation of $15,000 from the German Club. We whole-heartedly appreciate the gesture of good-will and friendship and we look forward to many events we can celebrate together. Thank you.
*Anonymous Family Donation* A family donated $5,000 toward the purchase of the equipment. We thank you for your generosity and support.
*Rasmuson Foundation, Rudi and Natasha von Imhof* The Rasmuson Foundation, and Rudi and Natsha von Imhof donated $5,000 to the playground project. We thank the Rasmuson Foundation and the von Imhofs for their invaluable support.
*Landscape Structure, Inc.* Rilke Schule very much appreciated that Landscape Structure understood our need to have a playground structure quickly. The company constructively worked with us and agreed to ship the structure for a 50% downpayment.
*Adam Galindo* Adam is the owner of Taco Loco. The business is two neighbors down from Rilke Schule. He volunteered to bring his forklift to the school and help unload the playground structure off the shipping trailers. It takes a community to build a playground. Thank you, Adam, for being such a great neighbor!
*Karl Croft* Exerplay employee Karl Croft did all the foot work and negotiations to help make the playground deal possible.
